Thread: Fatality!

  1. And? That's an R-rated movie. A movie which I would have no problem banning kids from seeing.

But even still, the level of glorification isn't there.

Well have you seen KUNG FU JESUS?!

Passion is just as damaging. And people were dragging their children to see that movie.

In any case religion might not glorify violence like the media, (Technically the Passion is just more media,) but it's certainly made a habit of acting as justification for horrific acts of violence. Just as bad.

  3. There's also Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter, a pretty damning mark on the Christian record.

  4. Am I only the person here whose heard of Battle Pope?

We've been through this whole thing before. Everyone thinks one way, you think another.

    Nope.

Sorry, you're wrong. The dissent comes from paranoid people who somehow equate this to the first amendment and are afraid of losing the ability to say "GEORGE BUSH IS EEEEVIL" as if sensible people are paying attention to them.

This has nothing to do with George Bush. How telling...

This is a hilariously stupid statement considering this whole thing is really about people shifting responsibility for their own actions onto others. I'll agree to the banning of all violent entertainment when the movie, videogame, or book comes out that instantly robs people of their ability to discern right and wrong. So, since that is an impossibility, I guess I won't have to worry about it.

Also it shows how delusional you are when you think the only 'sensible' people are the braindead masses who believe every bit of neocon garbage they hear on talk radio or FOX News because they're too stupid to read the paper or do any research on their own.

You obviously haven't played Mortal Kombat.

I know that people I described are by default less sensible.
