The Right to Own a Car

This is ridiculous and completely unnecessary. No one is going to take the people's cars for any reason other than repossession or legal punishment. The only other way would be if the pollution caused by the abundance of cars became a severe deteriment to public health, and in that case your car SHOULD be taken away.

I live in the South, the rural mountainside to be specific. Without my car I would have no choice but to relocate to a more dense metropolitan area where I could rely on public transit. Now, would I prefer this? Not particularly. I'd rather just be driving something other than a fossil fuel car, but that's apparently beside the point. What's important is that if I had to choose between my car and being able to breath without filling my lungs with toxic gas, you better believe Big Brother's getting my keys with a smile.
