Considering that he was in that situation and didn't hurt her he obviously did have reservations, which means your comment is wrong and he wasn't hypocritical. He was referring to her actions, not her thoughts.Originally Posted by Andrew

lol! Obviously that comment his a chord with your actions and thoughts too. I guess looking in a mirror isn't some people's cup of tea.Originally Posted by MechDeus

You're right in that I have said things as a way of talking that I would never actually do, which means you have my personality pinned down about as well as stating that I wear shirts when I go to work. Doesn't change that you're wrong.Originally Posted by Andrew

This makes absolutely no difference to what I said, and it's far more broad a speculation than simple fashion style. You say things in your mind that are hypocritical to the ends which you're attempting to achieve (in this case, the above poster wanted to take children out of a violent and disturbing situation).Originally Posted by MechDeus

Above is the definition of hypocrisy. Blacklight85 fits it to a T (and now we know, so do you). He says he finds it irritating and it angers him that a mother or guardian of a child would take him or her to see a potentially traumatic experience because of violence. (this is Blacklight85 professing his belief or feelings)
Yet the action he wishes to reprimand the mother with is a "head bashing", the exact violent traumatic experience that he claimed to have angered him. It's a hypocritical thought, and to say that just because you don't carry out the action physically doesn't make hypocritical is a pretty big lie.
He is professing his wish for the children to be in a non-violent situation, yet his solution to the problem is violence.
It does, but you don't seem to get very much. This doesn't even make sense in context.

Parents like that just don't care really bother me. They clearly were pissed that they would have to give up their rebel high school stoner lifestyle once they had a kid, so just kept it up and their own kids turned into scum bags.
Barf! Barf! Barf!
Most kids are accidents anyway.
