Thread: Stupid Parents

  1. Because some parents never considers that having kids means this: Your life for the next 18 years is over, it belongs to these kids. And it should, if you are not directly survising or helping them, someone else should. But it is always primarily them.

I'd say most parents. And then, because they're clueless, they take the kid to a shrink when they are actually around their children and see them behaving like children, and the poor kid ends up with the fake mental illness and a prescription for Ritalin.

  3. This is why I like the idea of stay at home parents, cause it means, someone at least has the opertunity of watching that fucker and correcting/helping him out not having some strangers come home to children they hardly know. Two income homes would be fucking great if and i repeat if that mean that BOTH parents could spend time raising the kid. Sadly its become 40 hours a week minium each person instead of total to provide a good standard of living for a household.

  4. Just a clarification:

I wasnt bothered by the fact that the kids were in the movie. I see kids in pg-13 to R movies and they are perfectly fine

In this case it was that the parents were treating their own kids like trash.

Telling a 4 year old to "shut the f up" multiple times, is just pushing your ass getting whipped by a stranger

The kids clearly did not want to be at the movie, and the mom holding the little girls head and forcing her to watch the scariest parts when she was crying is just the tip of the iceberg

I have a 3 year old myself and in any situation that behavior is just not acceptable. My kid loves star wars, i will be taking him to see the next one when it comes out even though it is pg 13. If he ever once tells me he is scared or wants to leave, then we are out of the theater in a flash.

When many of you actually get to the point where you have kids of your own, situations like this will hit harder to home

ADD being an illness has everything to do with money and insurance. It isn't an illiness in the classic way. But it called one so insurance can pay for it.

People think different and ADD is really just a way of thinking. I imagine out of all the kids who take pills for ADD, very few are really are bad enough where it could really be called a disorder.

I like how you knew I was talking about ADD.

Anyway, I love the line of thinking that ADD is so frequently diagnosed now beacuse it was underdiagnosed in the past. No. You know what was underdiagnosed in the past to our detriment? HIV.

Tell me about it. In a little over six months, aproxiamately eight girls, ranging from ages 13-17, in my high school have either become pregnant or given birth. One had her kid, in her work bathroom. One is on her third abortion. THose who have gone through with giving birth, are completely neglecting them, usually dumping with their own parents. You can imagine how crappy they will be as parents.
    OMG <3 4EVA
Scourge:Azumanga Daioh is exactly the same thing as Ninja Scroll.
    buttcheeks: High school so weird

  9. All I have to say is that alot parents are indeed stupid, but look on the bright side and at all the parents who were at that sold out show and didn't bring their kids. One out of one hundred ain't too bad. Just sucks that you had to sit by those particular people.

It's also worth mentioning that Andrew's logic is so completely flawed that an argument isn't really necessary. Negative points go to IP for implying that Andrew was using any kind of logic in the first place.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.
