Thread: IIDX 9th Style

Well that funky last piece that tricks the tray into thinking it's closed just broke. So instead of spending another 15 bucks on another flimsy piece of shit I'm just going to open the damn thing up, find that switch and tape it down.

  2. Also I heard that something is wrong with the timing in 5th style, but the oh so kind posters on bemanistyle told me not to worry about it until I'm an expert.
    ??
    Don't worry about it, period.

Think I can get to that switch without disassembling any moving parts?

Fuggin' A. The controller arrived this morning while I was asleep. I hope to god I can find that switch and get it taped down.

Good luck with that. I mean... have fun. I am sure you can rig it up to work... somehow. Or just completly break the whole thing.

This is also the reason that I never went with a slide card tactic.

    You use an Import PS2?

    Way too pricey for me.

No, mod chipped. And you would be supprised at how cheap it was... possibly.

Meh..if this doesn't work then I'll buy one of the better slim tools and in the meantime work on a memory card exploit.
I'm also going to tape/hot glue the original piece back together and see if I can't get that to work.

It worked out more than fine. All you have to do is take the casing off and the sensor is completely unobstructed by any parts. We stuck a piece of duct tape on it, then stuck the duct taped original piece back in its spot to keep it in place and everything works 100% ok.

The only problem is the voiding of the warranty that happens when you open the case.

Anyway I went straight through beginner mode and cleared everything on 1 try with 16 perfects, and I'm about halfway through light 7, but I needed speed mods for some. I'm...pretty bad. For now! God is it fun.
