Exactly. Why wait for companies to release your favorite classic game compilation when you can do it yourself.Originally Posted by Tain

It blows my mind that Konami hasn't rereleased Rondo of Blood yet. Do they not see the prices people are still willing to pay for this game on eBay? Fuck, they could reissue the PCE version alone and move plenty of copies for $50 a pop. As a $20 budget title like CV Chronicles, I doubt it could hurt them. If they did this when SotN was at the height of its popularity and the PS1 was still a big deal, it would have been smart. CV fans were foaming at the mouth for a Rondo rerelease.
Hell, they could even sell remakes/rereleases of the MSX Metal Gears. Of course, no interest. The smart thing to do is obviously to put MG on cell phones. ...Right.
Though Sega and Capcom may be as dumb as shit, at least they know how to whore out their older games effectively. Hell, even Midway does it right, and in budget-priced collections. Way to go Konami. You suck.

There's no way I can go back to Castlevania III after playing Akumajou Densetsu...
Just releasing Rondo of Blood would satisfy me, especially with all the eBay fucknuttery surrounding this one. $20? $30? $50? I don't care. A graphic overhaul would be nice as long as it stayed 2D.
