Thread: Game Informer insider on Revolution controller...

  1. "Force feedback" is where it's at.

and just to reiterate: the DS is a gimmick, not an innovation.

    Thank you for your time.

  2. that falcon thing looks cool. I actually interviewed at Sandia Labs but they never got back to me . He said that's where they invented it.

This video's makeing the rounds on message boards that are speculating what may be in store for the Revolution.

In this interveiw with Tom Anderson, Novint's founder, president and CEO, he states:

"The company is talking to some console makers - such as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo - about adding the Falcon to their next-generation systems."

Of course there are a number of reasons why this should all be taken with a grain of salt.

I would say the number one reason it should be taken with a grain of salt is price

they mentioned it retailing under 100 bucks

console controls need to be an assload cheaper than 100 bucks

I think maybe they were looking into this technology but i think its still way to expensive for console use

I sure hope it's not true. That's all I can say. But good to hear Iwata himself apparently said the feature of the Rev pad will not be a touch screen.
