My Earth Science teacher always said "Religion and Science should always be taken hand in hand, not as two things that can't coexist." I agree, Unfortunately I have no reasoning behind this, I just like it.

Here is something about the moths.

With the darkening of the environment due to pollution, darker tone moths were less likely to be eaten by birds. Thus more survive to make more of their own. That's a really basic example of evolution, but there you go.
