  3. Vague and stale game information from lionhead.co.uk:
The tribespeople have different skills and abilities.

Explore beaches, deserts, swamps, woods, caves, mountains and much more

Review their skillets and decide who is to become the leader of your tribe

See your people gain in experience, skill and power

Battle the simians for control of the globe

Hundreds of locations, many secret, all gorgeous.
    And synopsis:
Without you, mankind hasn’t got a hope. It’s pre-history and the very first humans face not only predators, disasters and the search for food, but also a war with a simian race vying for supremacy of the earth

Your task is to unite humankind, teach them how to survive and guide them to the ultimate goal – the continuation of the species.

As your tribe learns to co-operate, use tools and communicate, things don’t get any easier. The earth is facing a massive meteorite collision, which only the luckiest and most skilful can possibly survive. The entire evolution of humankind rests on your shoulders. There’s no pressure.

  4. Sorry, but this game doesn't stand a chance against dethroning Tail of the Sun as best caveman simulator. Nothing like running along hills and then spontaneously falling asleep! Such a great random game...

  5. does skillet mean something else in the UK?

  6. Review their skillets and decide who is to become the leader of your tribe
    Overheard at the tribal review...
"Orgorg's skillet has a teflon coating... but Twarknarf's is red, I like that... Garabon! This isn't a skillet, this is just and empty JiffyPop popper !!!!!"

Yeah, I caught that this morning. Molyneux always has pretty lofty ideas, and even manages to pull them off on occasion. This one seems to be decidedly "action" as opposed to simulation, which is just fine by mean. If nothing else, it sure looks detailed. Thosa vistas and creatures looky pretty impressive. Maybe it'll even play well, too...
