Thread: Black holes don't exist?

  1. You know what that means if this explains the theory of our universe expanding and contracting, cause at some point the big bang is gonna happen all over again after it sucks the shit outta everybody.

  2. That or hawking radiation is this mysterious force thats causing voyager (that probe that left our solar system ages ago) to acellerate.

  3. hmmmm... Could be

I am more inclined to think there is a smaller pluto out there somewhere effecting the trajectory because voyager came a little to close.

    Who knows?

On theory is that on the other side of black holes are smaller big bangs.

  4. "Science without anomolies ceases to be science, it becomes engenering"

I think Popper said that, not quite sure.. I for one welcome contradictions in science, just the other day my Physics prof. told me that "There are no anomolies in Electromagentic or Special Relativistic theories." I wanted to come back with "Infinite energy of the point charge !!!!WTF!!!!!" but my respect for him held me back.

What is the structure of dark energy/matter, how is it related to real energy/matter?

But inside, the 'negative' gravity of dark energy may cause matter to bounce back out again.
So it has all the properties of real matter but the gravitational field goes like -1/r^2? I wana know damnit!

If the dark-energy star is big enough, Chapline predicts, any electrons bounced out will have been converted to positrons, which then annihilate other electrons in a burst of high-energy radiation. Chapline says that this could explain the radiation observed from the centre of our galaxy, previously interpreted as the signature of a huge black hole.
That is quite interesting. It all sounds quite AdHocStringTheoryIsh though.

He also thinks that the Universe could be filled with 'primordial' dark-energy stars. These are formed not by stellar collapse but by fluctuations of space-time itself, like blobs of liquid condensing spontaneously out of a cooling gas. These, he suggests, could be stuff that has the same gravitational effect as normal matter, but cannot be seen: the elusive substance known as dark matter.
    Problem solved!

You can't prove anything in science with math, BTW.

    Hah!

Honestly this sounds more like conjecture =/

I must have missed this news.

Can't believe it. Basicly the probe outside our solar system is accelerating for unknown reasons. Conjecture and theory ensued. Could someone dig this article up for me?

  8. This should do the trick http://www.holoscience.com/news/mystery_solved.html.

    I love science .

The Casmir Effect is scientific fact.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.
