The one weakness I have found with Google is that it is not as complete as, say MapQuest, as far as the written directions go. For instance, if one interstate merges into another, MapQuest will tell you that, Google will just not give another direction until there is literally a turn. This can be somewhat unnerving if you are somewhere that you are not familar with.

Mapquest has told me to turn onto streets that I can't turn onto before and got me very badly lost. A few times I had to find my own directions, luckily all the places I went to that were farther away it gave me solid directions.
