Best Scanner for Scanning Artwork

I'm of the mindset that anything Epson is bad. I've used scanners and printers from them that just suck.

In terms of brand, I would recommend anything Canon. In terms of price? I got mine (can't remember the model number) in 2006 for $40 and it still works like a champ. So I think as long as you're avoiding Epson you'll get something good for a decent price.

Coincidentally, i bought an already old-ass Epson scanner for $20 around the time this thread was still relevant, and it lasted me until very recently, until my boss bought another Epson scanner that works better and faster.

Nothing beats an EPSON for quality photographic printing. Not sure what models you have used, but th3 3000 series and up is amazing. Canon is good and making headway in photographic printing, but still can't touch EPSON.
