So I considered getting it for 360 for a half second. Holy shit at what the complete collection goes for.
Why isn't this a game on demand? (or is it and did I just not see it listed. All I saw for FFXI was a trailer)
So weird. I don't recall having locking up issues like that, sounds like a conflict. Are you getting any kind of error message, SSJN?
Those are kind of ridiculous. At least the one with three expansion packs is only $15 used on Amazon, though I'm not sure if it'll just download all the way through Abyssea. Maybe call Square and ask them?
If i cant get it to work on my pc, i guess i will have to. I dont know what set it off. It was working fine for almost 20 minutes. Then i met up with bonuskun and shit froze the game and my pc like six times.
Theres a voice in the back of my head saying bonuskun did something to me for all the times i called him bonuskunt.![]()
First: Did you try the check files button? It's in PlayOnline, run that first to make sure nothing got (randomly) corrupted. I think it's a drop down menu so make sure it's FFXI's files you're checking.
Secondly: Did you try turning all the graphical options down? Not that I think that your PC can't handle a PS2 game, just that there might be a conflict somewhere. Some people have had freezing issues with FFXI that for some reason go away with certain resolutions.
Sounds like everyone is having a blast playing Final Fantasy XI.

I use my 59" plasma for a monitor.
I have a zoom feature on my TV that roughly equates to 720p, so I set my FFXIV window to that. It's still not nearly as nice as 1080p but it works.
1280x720 and I think 1980x1080 are the standard HD resolutions (the second number is the one normally given, like 720p).
