PSP-PS2 Connectivity in Upcoming Jak & Daxter Games

Naughty Dog announced they are working on a new action platformer title for PSP featuring Daxter (from Jak & Daxter) as the main character. The game will have connectivity features with the Jak X Combat Racing, such as unlock Daxter as a playable character in the PS2 game.

I'm confused.

It's not overrated, just underused for stuff that matters.

Whats confusing? Theres nothing wrong with connectivity when they also use online. The problem is when a company chooses to try and make connectivity their big thing instead of online when the rest of the world is going online.

I was so proud of Naughty Dog when they said Jak III was the last in the series. It showed that they had matured past their ruining and over using of a series seen with Crash Bandicoot. Then they go and annouce another game based on the absolute weakest part of the franchise.

Off topic, but I think that in a future Naughty Dog game, there should be an Easter Egg that will unlock a full version of Way of the Warrior.
