If you hadn't noticed I had already said someone had told the answer on Gamefaqs which is why I didn't carry on trying to rephrase the original post. And on Gamefaqs I used the exact same post and noone had any trouble understanding.

Further cementing the notion in my mind, that the idiots on GameFAQs can't read or write. They've developed their own malformed language, made up of sentence fragments, rogue punctuation, clicks, and bloops, not unlike a secular African tribe that has yet to meet with civilization.

When you came here, you fell into an English-speaking board. However, when you went to GameFAQs, you found the same gibberish-speaking natives that I speak of, and dialogue was lateral. You spoke in monkey sounds, the natives responded in turn, and all was well.

I have just bought a PAR MK3 as i was told that was what i needed to play a US import of FF3 but..
Firstly I just cant save on slot one, it just bleeps as if it was trying to load an empty slot, Secondly whenever I walk on the world map half the screen flashes oddly and Lastly lots of the menus lose the box background so just have pitch balck and half the writing is missing. Do you know if this is to do with my FF3 cart or the action replay?

One more thing the PAR MK3 is in German so I cant really read any of the menus so do i need to do something special first. All i do is put FF3 in the top and Super mario world in the back and then set it from Europe to USA/Jap and press start.

I know this board doesn't deal much with the classic stuff, but I thought I'd ask. Google searches revealed nothing for me. I recently picked up a US copy of FF3 (FF6j) for the SNES, and I want to play it on my European SNES using a Pro Action Replay. When I try it, it does not work properly. Am I doing something wrong? Is this to be expected by using a cheat device as a region convertor? Is there another device that can work this properly for me? Thanks for your help.

What I bolded is important. Every idiot they let onto the net should be given a rules sheet. It should say the following:

1. Don't be stupid, please.

2. All problems are solved with a google search.

3. Respect #1 and #2 at all times.
