Thread: Graffiti Kingdom

  1. PlayStation 2 Graffiti Kingdom

Nobodies mentioned this yet, but I saw it reviewed in the latest PSM, and thought I'd dig up some info.

Graffiti Kingdom is the sequel to Magic Pengel, the game where you drew penises that attacked each other. This sequel bumps it up a notch.

The doodling mechanic will come into play by letting you draw alternate shapes to morph into (on the fly) as you go about your business. Besides offering the expected boost to your melee combat, the different shapes will eventually let you perform more-powerful attacks, defend yourself more effectively, and, most importantly, access new areas.

I think it comes out in May.

    Also, according to IGN:

  2. Dude, kickass! I own magic pengel and i still get a real kick out of it from time to time, and i really loved the drawing system. I'm so glad that it's going to be used again, because the flawed battle system was a real letdown in a game with so many good ideas.

  3. Magic Pengel had some good concepts but the battle system was total shit. That said, I hadn't even heard of this till right now, but if the battle system is improved it might be the game I had hoped the first would be.

  4. I've heard of this, thanks only to the PSM review, and am all over it when it hits. Getting an actual release date would help a lot, though, assuming it hasn't finally gotten one since I last checked the other day.

IIRC, Hot-B made games back in the NES days. Mostly fishing games, and probably some Game Boy games.

  6. Where the fuck did my thread go? I said in it that it's either out now, or coming out in early May (with the 8th being named). Here are the other links I put in the first thread -
Wal-Mart's listing for the game (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=3868554) lists a May release with a $20 price tag. Gamestop and EB don't even have it listed. Gamespy has a nice feature on it here - http://ps2.gamespy.com/playstation-2.../602015p1.html

The Miyazaki studio animation should be neat to see in a game. I can't believe it'll be in a budget release. I loved the first, and want this now. IGN has apparently changed the release date to May 24. Those GS screens make me want to make the Mooninites, damned game, be out now!

You posted it like a day after this one, so Kano locked it.

He also made fun of you for not finding this one while it was still one the first page.

Oh shit, Now I feel like buying it and I'm going to make ATHF characters exclusively.

  8. Good to see Kano always take a cheap shot. I did a search for the game, and it didn't turn up anything. He could have at least merged mine into this instead of outright deleting it. Oh well. This thread is all tricked out with images and shit, so it works out.

  9. But this thread is like four days old.

Edit: oh you tricksy bastard, I was repsonding to your making of this thread at 3 in the morning blah blah and you changed your post. Now I just look like an idiot.

  10. Draw a rhino impaling Kano if it bugs you so much.

(This game looks great, btw. Jazzed.)
