As for Mario, I'm praying it is the awesome. A level editor would be incredible, but I doubt it'll ever happen.

You know, there are already some level editors out there for SMB 1-world. You'll have to get your hands dirty, but if you own the games anyway...

Good level design (3-D or not), classic music, no gimmicks, E-cards, or microphones whatsoever, Mario Paint, Bowser not being a pansy, and a g'damned mute option for those high-pitched yelps and squeals Nintendo passes off for character voices nowadays.

In short, a good game.
