Staying connected to the game is the easy part for me, getting connected isn't. TobalRox, I don't think you can do that, although I'm not 100% sure. Given the system link option, I doubt you can.
Assuming you can stay connected that is.Originally Posted by Jeremy

That's something that's most disturbing about beat em ups - all the good ones are 3 and 4 players in the arcade (Simpsons, Turtles, AvP, D&D), yet when they come out at home, they're always 2 players. WTF? It's not like the systems can't handle it.
Only beat em ups that are 4 players for home console I've known is:
TMNT arcade on TMNT Battle Nexus
and Spikeout.

What's system link have to do with it? I know a lot of games don't have the feature of 2 players local going online, but it exists in some, and it's the best way to play online IMO.Originally Posted by Jeremy

I just wasn't sure if system link being included would negate the point of having four folks playing on one Xbox. After (finally) looking at the back of the box, it's 1-4 off and online, and 2-4 player with system link stuff.

naw, most online games have system link as well, but Mech Assault, Top Spin, and Wrestlemania have 2 players going online as well. Outlaw Volleyball had it too, but I can't remember if it had system link support. It's really two separate entities, not related at all. Appreciate the help though.Originally Posted by Jeremy

Control is a big deal in beat-em ups, but Zombie Revenge implemented so many other things so well (atmosphere, use of guns and fisticuffs, wide array of weapons, play feel), that it's easier to forgive the difficulty level and bad control when looking at the game as a whole.Originally Posted by Joust Williams
Beat em ups are dead to me, and The Warriors, and Final Fight Streetwise drove the nail further into the coffin. As far as I'm concerned, the last and only good 3D beat em up was Dynamite Cop on the DC.

There's always Beats of Rage, and that new game by the same folks, Age of the Beast, I think it's called.
I really wish someone would make a new side-scrolling fighter along the lines of Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja, or Ninja Warriors Again.
I'd love to play something like Bad Dudes, but with at least KOF-quality graphics and gameplay.
We still got offshoots in the form of devil may cray and god of war. Would very much like to see this stuff in a real fighting game.
