You also liked Excite Truck, so this praise doesn't mean much.

Excite Truck was the game of the show.

  3. Your mom was the game of the show.

So that's what the line wrapped around half of downtown LA was...

I couldn't agree more. God, I'm so sick of 3-D Beat em up characters being covered in tribal tattoos and body piercings.

Just say "looking like criminals." The tribal tattoos and body piercings will be assumed.

I agree, God Hand was good fun at E3. My only issues were that the character moves a bit slow, and it would be nice to be able to control the camera instead of assigning the right analog to a dodging function.

At least Capcom has the good sense to release it as a budget title. I'm thinking that this game would appeal to audiences who like arcadey games like Gun Grave.

  8. What's wrong with Excite Truck? It's stupid fun. I wouldn't spend money on it, but I had a good time messing around.

Here, let me make this easier on you- I like Chulip. Of course, I also thought Sid Meier's Railroads! looked pretty damn cool as well, and am seriously looking forward to Spore.

Back on topic, God Hand should be a good solid chunk of brawling. $30 doesn't hurt, either. As far as I know it and The Red Star are the last games coming out that can be classified as beat-'em-ups.

  9. Just played through Final Fight Streetwise this weekend...heres my impression for what its worth:

    Pros:

+ Fighting system is tight and responsive
    + Good graphics
    + Good voice acting
+ Always something to do besides the current story ( i.e. pitfights, sidemissions)
+ High replay value and cool unlockables

    Cons:

    - The levels are pretty meh
    - Theres some slowdown when u get alot of enemies on screen (but that doesnt happen alot)
    - Too easy, but when u start a new game+ i think the enemies get stronger but im not positive on that...
    - Most of the moves that u buy are only good against one opponent at a time

thats it all in all great game and a nice comeback for the beatem ups. Solid Rental though cause its short i beat it in about 4 or 5 hours. If your looking for a beatem up play this.
