Thanks guys. I really appreciate it.

I am happy that it's my birthday, but I'm also quite sad.

About six weeks ago, my father-in-law was hit some complications that pretty much left him in a coma. His condition has been up and down, though more down than up. At this point he's nearly in the vegetable stage and has a bunch of machines hooked up to him. Since this was my first time ever seeing a family member like that, I was pretty freaked out. He can 'feel' anyone around him, but of course, his only response will be from the machines working to keep him up. Hopefully, he'll still be alive by morning.

Here's to hoping that holds on a little while longer....
