If I remember correctly from the Sony press conference, Kutaragi mentioned the "fourth deminsion" was the online aspect of the PS3. Or maybe the feed was just shitty and thats what I thought I heard.

the ps3 controller tech is NOTHING like the wii. the PS3 is tilt ONLY. the wii senses depth, has a microphone and other things. basically the ps3 controller is a glorified Kirby's GBA tilt pak.

My same thoughts. Initially, I didn't care for it at all -- then I started playing it for real (actually taking cover, attacking strategically and aggressively) and I became impressed. Then there's the multiplayer which looks absolutely righteous. This could be a big title, but I don't know if it can get out of the large shadow being cast by Gears of War.
