I like the achievements. Sure they do nothing but its kinda nice to earn a little something extra when you play a game. I doubt I would've even tried Call of Duty 2 on veteran, but with the points it earned me some extra replay and more value for my money.

I never really put any thought into achievement points until I got the system. Now everytime the message and "ding!" goes off I dork out and check my score and see what I got.
It doesn't do anything, but it's like this weird mental treat.
I also didn't think I'd want a different face plate until I got it too.
