The XBOX 360 can also "create phenomenon inside the computer."
    Heh.

Thus Part I of this series will be devoted to exploring the types of applications for which the Xbox 360 was designed, with a particular emphasis on 3D gaming and the real-time procedural synthesis of in-game geometry.

So it looks like the 360 can produce virtual objects and phenomenons inside the computer. Amazing!
But can it make me a sandwich?

  3. I for one welcome our new robot masters.

  4. Robots are everywhere, and they eat old people's medicine for fuel.

  5. I might be in the minority, but I want the new systems to do far more than just play video games. I want the Xbox 360 or PS3 or whatever to store my audio and video content, and let me watch it on my television. I want something like that recent Philips (?) DVD player that plays a crapload of disc formats and codecs. That's what I wanted out of the PS2, and I stupidly bought into Sony saying that it was going to do stuff like that.

If we finally get it this time, though, sweet.

But you won't. A do-it-all machine will never do anything as well as a dedicated machine. Anyone who uses their Xbox as their primary DVD player might as well have kept their VHS shit. The next generation is not going to change that. If you want all-in-one shit, then you should have supported the NUON. Afterall, it's the same fucking stupid concept.

  8. Wow, there are some choice quotes there. The best part is they're only going to get better when the thing is out, and we start seeing quotes explaining why promised things aren't in.
