Cool Spot has its moments. The opening level is fun, and the 7UP theme works pretty well for a game by some miracle. Damn you all, now I want to play that game. And I'm sure I'll follow it up with some Pit Fighter just to appreciate the good points in CS.

When was the last time you idiots played it? Because for me, it was two days ago.
Cool Spot = crass commercialism + shitty licensing + mascot with attitude + by-the-numbers platformer.
The game is everything wrong with 16-bit gaming in one package. Much like True Crime 2 is this generation.

Cool Spot wasn't un-fun, but it wasn't anything special. Certainly, it doesn't deserve any praise.
