Thread: Subway's "Sub Club" folds.

  1. They're obviously fat and stupid. Also, there is far too much math in this thread. I like Subway a lot, and I also like Quiznos. Subway is cheaper and I like their bread a lot better.

  2. There's a local chain here in PR called El Meson that literally owns both Quizno's and Subway. They have a menu twice the size, have both American and local sandwiches, and the food is incredible. One of the few restaurants I'd actually miss were I to leave the island.

I'm all about the Parmesan Oregano.

  4. i want to like Quiznos, but every time i've ever eaten there i end up feeling sick, and generally get a case of the shits. I like Subway for what it is, something cheap, fast, easy, and healthy. Local delis are great and all that, but when you don't know the ins and outs of an area and you just need to grab something Subway always makes a dependable option.

their service is slow as fuck (but then i went at like almost 1am), but their sammiches are the fucking best. i also stole a Snapple from them, too. waited there for so long they must've forgot i was even holding the bottle.
Yes, and there's another one off of Hempstead Turnpike that I frequently visit.

My favorite sandwich from there is the Corona.

  6. Footlong roast beef>all. I like Subway, although they pale in comparison to a pricey local sub shop's stuff. Quizno's is overpriced trash. Bootleg Sub Club tickets...I've seen it all. It's a friggin' six inch sub, and it's not much of a free bargain at all. I'll take their three footlongs for $10 deal over it any day.

Most Subways in NYC have this...except for the 2 in my neighborhood apparently.

  8. This is a bummer, I used the stamps all the time and still do, it's a very nice little money saver. And although I like Quizno's better (Batch 81 chili sauce on classic Italian with tons of yellow peppers scooped from the free pepper bar = rock), Subway still has a better cheese steak. Their roasted chicken and chicken teriyaki are really good too. But they got rid of their red wine venaigrette sauce! grrrr.

Quizno's can be hella expensive but you can get by nicely with their $5.81 daily combo special which has choice of soup or chips and a fountain drink.

Darn, now I gotta go get a sub.
