right.. well, my point is that normal people think of them in terms of GHz, FSB, RAM, video card, etc.

You asked for the explanation, and there it is.
MK2 on XBLA plz - let the unfolding of gameplay begin!!

On a second thought, I do understand how sunshine didn't really seem to have the mario feel, meaning it didn't have the real traditional worlds, castles and what not.

the ds is a console (albeit a handheld one)

I say the smb on ds is one of the only nintendo games I've been looking forward to in years. I might even have to break down and get me a ds for it.

Came up the other day when I installed Far Cry and there was a patch for 64-bit PCs that I had to pass up since mine's 32-bit.

I don't either. It was Mario 64 with a waterpack and better graphics. I think the hyper-preschool art direction put alot of people off though.

dunno if this has been posted before since i was outta town for a long time. it's a repost mod you can delete it.

anyways, i'm so glad that Ninty decided that Mario 128 goes to the revolution, if it'sa launch title then this would make the revolution fly off the shelves like the good ol' days!

and please no flud or any gadgets, i just want jumping mario in mashroom kingdom with goombas!
I wish. Something tells me Miyamoto is all but determined to make sure the next Mario game is as UN-like the previous titles as possible. bleh

Never mind the fact he'll probably only be a general supervisor on the game.

I'm also worried by the E3 New Super Mario Brothers report from IGN which said it was sparse on enemies. Lame. Don't wanna make the game to hard for toddlers I guess. I don't get it, why dumb down the Mario games for kids with this annoying "universal difficulty" angle when kids like the old cartridges as much as the new Mario titles (from what I have seen firsthand anyways)?

I may sound bitter but I enjoyed Sunshine. But the next game needs to be a Mario 64 killer through and through.

...when were Sonic games ever filled with bad guys? Most of them were absolutely harmless, and in the Advance series they're so watered down that they actually jump over you when you approach so they don't slow you down.

In any case, I hated Mario Sunshine because the level design was terrible. Mario controlled fine, and the waterpack was a good idea, but outside of the secret stages the levels were positively dull to explore.

They were up until SMW Yoshi's Island for the SNES. They were brimming with them. Dunno what games u were playing, Sonic 2D games have way less enemies even.
