This be a great game, but some fine tuning in the online department seems to be in order.
It is strange. For me, Gears is the right kind of horror, F.E.A.R. may be the wrong kind.
During Gears I am going "cool" at the gore and the fun, but at F.E.A.R. it sort of just depresses me. It doesn't scare me, but it puts me in a place that says "the last thing in the world I want is to be in this position" whereas I WANT to be experiencing what happens in Gears.
I'm probably not describing this very well...

LAWL yes white chidren are just terrifying. The Ring and The Grudge gave me nightmares
I started this game on Hardcore and it's fun, haven't gotten stuck yet. Starting on super-easy mode is for f-chans who barely have the ability to navigate menus in a jrpg.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1
My Backloggery
IBTN.
I don't know why anyone would start playing this game on casual. I would have started on insane is it was available.
If you beat it on Hardcore and Insane, then go back to Casual (for the achievements), wouldn't that just be really boring and a total chore?
You automatically get the achievements for casual if you play on Hardcore.
Korly-"Everyone here is an asshole, SURPRISE!"
God damn, I had no idea.
So if I play Insane, do I get the acheivements for Hardcore?
Yes and No.
You have to beat the game on Hardcore to unlock Insane, but you could always co-op with someone who already unlocked Insane.
