Kolibri and Shadow Squadron do, indeed, rock my motherfucking face...
Nothing else on the 32x is worth it though...

When I look at my 32x library, for a system that had a lifespan of 6 months it's got a huge number of good games:
Motocross Championship
Virtua Fighter
Afterburner
Space Harrier
Toughman Contest
Knuckles Chaotix
Blackthorne
Kolibri
Spiderman Web of Fire
Doom
BC Racers
Pitfall
Mortal Kombat 2
Metal Head
Shadow Squadron
RBI Baseball 95'
Tempo
Virtua Racing Deluxe
Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000
Star Trek Academy Bridge Simulator
Sega CD is much more beloved than 32x, yet it never put out great games at a pace like that, it just had more time to exist. I love Sega CD, but I don't think 32x gets nearly enough recognition for it's games. If Sega didn't botch the Saturn launch and released it alongside PSX, and marketed 32x as an affordable alternative to Saturn (with games available at launch), I think it'd have had a solid niche.

I had fun playing 32X stuff for ten minutes at Innoventions in Disney World. Kolibri looked really nice, and Doom was fun. Chaotix was also a beautiful little game.

Many of those were available elsewhere, and many of the ones that weren't sucked. Kolibri is one of the few that's actually worthwhile and original.
Star Wars Arcade wasn't too shabby back then..the death star level was nice anyways..again..back then. Kolibri wasn't too bad either. I thought Kolibri looked nice enough and was original.
Shadow Squadron was a neat little shooter and I think it had a sequel on the Saturn right?? If so how was it?
Spiderman: Web of Fire was ok but it had AWFUL graphics ...and pretty bad sound and music too. Spidey had decent animation though.
I enjoyed Tempo and think its MILES better than the stupid sequel on the Saturn...man that game was BAD (I bought it and traded it for Soukyogurentai years ago..best trade EVAR)
Doom on 32X was awesome when I first played it but that was my first experience with Doom as I had no pc at the time..obviously its pretty damn shitty now that I look at it.
Blackthorne was great and I dug the rendered look on the game though I know most people prefered the hand drawn look of the SNES game.
I think the 32X Virtua Racing is my favorite version of VR. The 2 extra stages and the stock car was all good.
Space Harrier will always be a personal favorite game for me and the 32X version is pretty much perfect (save the lack of an arcade style joystick I could use) and Afterburner was also spot on.
The 32X was doomed from the very beginning but I liked a few of its games.
Motocross Championship was also really fantastic, it felt like a perfect 3D Excitebike before Excitebike 64 came out.
I agree about Virtua Racing Deluxe being the best version of the game, I think Virtua Fighter 1, Mortal Kombat 2, Afterburner and Space Harrier were all games that were best on 32X.
I loved my 32x. A gen/SegaCd/32X single unit coulda been a contenda.
No gnus is good gnus.

Motocross Championship has to be the second worst dirt bike game on the planet, beat out only by Supercross 3D on Jaguar.

I agree with VR but your way wrong on MK2. The 32x version isn't any better than the genesis version. I always heard stories about it, how it was the best version. I was soo let down.Originally Posted by SpoDaddy
