Actually it wasn't a stop-gap measure at all. It was entirely meant to sell alongside the Saturn as a low priced alternative. Given the amount of Genesis units out there, the Saturn's high price, and the fact that the 16-bit market had at least a year of life left in it, it was a pretty good idea. SOJ fucked everything up by discontinuing everything to concentrate on the Saturn. They lost a shitload of revenue by giving the 16-bit market to Nintendo, and pissed off most of their fan base by killing the two add-ons.Originally Posted by Jeremy
