It's not like they didn't call me all the time at 8 am on weekday mornings, anyway. I'm sure they bother community college students moreso than others due to the "I'm only going to school 'cause my parents are forcing me to!" factor.
My mom went nuts on them when they did that once, actually. It was pretty funny.

I haven't gotten anything in the mail or even a phone call from the armed services since I had to register. The only time I'd willingly join up is if America had actually been invaded.This guy I worked with was in the Marines. He joined up in July of 2001. Said the first couple months were ok, but then everything went to hell.

The program is provoking a furor among privacy advocates. The new database will include personal information including birth dates, Social Security numbers, e-mail addresses, grade-point averages, ethnicity and what subjects the students are studying.

This is will most likely be added to the databases they already have to narrow down who potential threats are.

Like say a bridge gets hit with a home made nuke, well all they have to do is cross reference this with other records and bingo, they go round up all the people in the aria that would know how to build something like this and have a record that suggest that they might do something like nuke a bridge.

It will be interesting to see if people get profiled later in life for stupid shit they do in school.

I for one do not want this. I don't want the government to know that I'm a mad genius in the making. They do not need to be aware that my senior project is a 20 foot tall robot with a jacob's ladder come out of it's head that can kill people.
