    A few notes:

This top 20 doesn't include portable titles. The number 1 selling title for the month would otherwise be Pokemon Emerald, with 882,579 copies.

The highest selling Gamecube game sold 23,000 copies.

3 PSP titles > the #1 DS title
13 PSP titles > the #2 DS title

It's also kind of funny that the DS has been out for like 4 months longer than the PSP, yet the PSP has one title more than the DS.

By next month, life-to-date PSP software sales should pass LTD DS software sales. Mario 64 DS accounts for 34% of the entire DS software sales.

Wario Ware Twisted sold 1,991 copies. Virtua Quest has been out bombed.

Nobody cares about what sells in Japan. They mutilate cats and eat ass eels over there.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."

  7. Tell that to Sony. I think they like Japan.

Nice to know the PSP hasn't streamrolled the DS like every gaming mag, blog, editorial, column, mailbag and forum said it was.

I wonder if the GBA will outsell the PSP next month.

What? The PSP sold 4x the DS. The fucking GBA sold nearly 4x the DS. The DS is having the lowest monthly hardware sales during it's first year of any system released in the last 10 years. And Pokemon Emerald was released this month to nearly 900k sales, and even still the GBA is down 35% compared to each previous year.

  9. In May, the PSP had only been out on the market for 1 1/2 months. It's still riding it's launch sales window, so no duh it's gonna pull stronger sales than a system that's past that.

Also, Wario Ware Twisted was only out for for the last 7 days in May.

    Learn perspective.

By the by, when did you become a Sony fanboy?

My PSP has 4x the dust that my DS does. That's worth something right?
