The movie I saw a while back showed very slow-paced boring action
Jump Super Stars has now joined the list of Japanese-released (or soon to be released) DS games that I want now. I'd been interested in seeing the game in motion, and now there are finally some videos on Nintendo's official site.
Jump Super Stars gameplay (2.6MB)
Jump Super Stars tutorial (11.4MB)
Jump Super Stars TV spot (2.7MB)
Jump Super Stars official web site
The game looks really cool and wacky. It'd probably be the first DS game I import except that it looks to have a lot of Japanese text. Given the popularity of the included characters even in the US (Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball Z, Once Piece), I'm pretty sure this will be released over here eventually. I just hope it doesn't take too long.
The game is going to release in Japan on August 8th along with its own special edition red Nintendo DS.

Pretty please, Nintendo?

Cool. Where'd you see the first video?
A long time ago on this forum. It looked way different and slow.

Sweetness, and I love that red DS.

Nintendo should put down whatever cash is necessary to get all those licenses in the U.S., because a U.S. release of Jump Super Stars will sell an unbelieavable amount of DS'es. I mean ridiculous Pokemon amounts.
R.I.P. Paragon Studios
Definitely. It would at least hook the otaku crowd, and then the kiddie crowd. The only sticking point would be the title, but I could see them calling it DBZ All-Stars or something like that.
