If MS does delay the japanese launch, it'll be to keep their inevitable failure in japan from killing the hype in the west, which they'll need for the holidays.

That isn't the worst thing they could do. Ooga Booga was great fun.

Ehh, I would consider Japan a loss already, anyway. Microsoft really should focus on North America and Europe if they want to take a bite of Sony's market. Barring exclusivity deals with Square Enix, I think Microsoft is going to find it impossible to gain traction in that market.

If I had any say in Microsoft's games division I'd be trying to secure exclusive rights to the Chrono series.
