Thread: Firefox screws up all page formatting

  1. Firefox screws up all page formatting

    Firefox 3.6.2 in OS 10.4.11

Page looks like this in Firefox:

    Click for full size

Here it is rendered properly in Safari on the same machine:

    Click for full size

Seems firefox is pushing content to the next line constantly. It's as if it thinks nothing fits. It does this throughout all internet pages I try to view.

Anyone know what the hell is going on here? I haven't been able to figure this out for months.

  2. Firefox sucks. I've never liked it.

loads with both columns but some black on either side for me... and quite frankly, I like the look that way.

I never used Firefox on my Mac though, despite being extremely loyal on my PC.

  4. I cropped the extra black out. It's the "shoving the right column underneath the entire left column" bit that I don't like.

oh, well, then, it displays fine for me.

I believe your problem is an Apple.

  6. My Firefox is formatting correctly on Vista and Ubuntu Linux 9.10

  8. That's the thing... it looks like it runs fine on FireFox everywhere else, too. Even FireFox on my friends' Apple computers.

    Aggravation!
