I'm reinstalling Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind to see how much value the game truly has. I have and played Painkiller to death. It's a straight gunner, so don't expect Halo or Halflife 2 shit, but the bosses are enormous and it's good for what it is. (shooting things, a bit of innovation along the way) It's fun to play an FPS like that every now and again.Originally Posted by diffusionx

Lost in Blue and Metroid Prime Hunters aren't coming in August for the DS, and also Namco Museum Battle Collection is coming for the PSP.
Anyway, only things I'm picking up this month are handheld titles. Advance Wars, Nintendogs, Namco Battle Collection, and possibly Death Jr.

Unfortunately, playing this at a friends makes me want to mod my console more and more with each day that goes by. It's sweet, Thief, check it out.Originally Posted by MechDeus
Almost all the games I want in August are imports
Grandia 3
Tales of Legendia (I will be buying the American release, too.)
Sonic Gems Collection (Import, not the domestic version which takes out streets of rage)
Breath of Fire 3 PSP
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Metal Slug 4 & Metal Slug 5
Awesome. Every game I want comes out on the 16th. Sigma Star, Sonic Gems, and Metal Slug 4 & 5 are out then. KoF '02 '03 also interests me, but I have '02 on DC already, so I may wait.
Of course, Pump Exceed comes out in August, too.
But... the date was changed to the 31st, not the 16th.
My copy was delayed so I could stick another game in my order and save on shipping, so it counts as an August game for me. It's both odd and a pity no one is even trying to bring Cave's efforts stateside. Sony US would turn them down flat unless they went for $10 each, but someone should at least make the effort.Originally Posted by Rocca

Tales of Rebirth also looks fantastic but we won't be getting that stateside, which completely sucks. It's a shame because the main hero of Rebirth looks a lot more badass and worth playing than Lloyd was [even though I enjoyed Symphonia]. I'm still getting Legendia but having both get a US release would have been ill.Originally Posted by link1110
I know, if they could bring games like Castle Shikigami here, I don't see what the problem would be with a small Cave Collection, or at least one of their titles. Really sucks.Originally Posted by Ammadeau

Tales of Rebirth IS fantastic, though the hero, badass acting as he may be, reminded me of Alex from Lunar with his constant pining over his kidnapped girlfriend the whole time.Tales of Rebirth also looks fantastic but we won't be getting that stateside, which completely sucks.
