Everybody should be told this at least once a day; especially black people, parents of retarded children and really uppity/religious white people.

you call anyone you don't like "gay" & make fun of anyone who is, but when muslims kill them you become bleeding heart liberals

anyways I remember all those signs & crap from religious Christian groups protesting gays, stuff like "God hates fags" etc

do YOU think that the super hardcore fanatical Christian groups wouldn't do the same if they got that kind of power??
Just because we have a secure sense of sexuality and have no problem throwing around the word gay which is already so overused in society that it is probably only relevant 1 out of 1000 conversations involving it, doesn't mean we hate homosexuals. Except Yoshi.

We're not assholes with no respect for life, at least most of us aren't.

Oh and I agree with Mike, therefore I'm sigging that statement.

  3. Ya know what, as much as i would LOVE to invade Iran/Iraq/All of Africa and all those other backwards ass places which execute people for being people here why we don't. Because in the end its the people who live there who have to change, not their laws, even if we changed the laws, it comes back to the people there to enforce them. Because enough people believe (like Burn) that homosexuality deserves death its permissable where people like him exsist.

Remember when lynchings went unpunished? Yeah its like that

That's actually not entirely true. What is legal and what isn't legal can alter the public's perception of the morality of things. When something becomes legal, even if it's very unpopular at the time, it tends to become accpeted after some years go by.

  5. Well in this case being homosexual is very not okay in the middle east. Yeah in some places like Lebanon and Eygpt people get by on the downlow , but the majority of times, being gay, lesbian or trans in the majority of the middle east, even Iraq, even in the American controled areas is basicly asking for trouble.

Being caught by the officals is actually a blessing for them because at least then they're required to have 4 witnesses to actually convict someone of homosexual behavior, assuming whoever's running things goes by the book (ususally being caught in the act, holding hands and kissing even on the cheeks/lips is pretty common as a greeting even for friends/family in the ME). And the penalities are usually not death, usually a few thousand lashes, depending on where you're situated exactly.

    Relivant links

I think a few thousand lashes will kill the average person.

    Which is kinda the point.

I ask again, why is the left so soft on Islam and yet so harsh on Christianity?

  8. If only we could all stop buying their oil, then the people over there could go back to being the hillbilly peasants they really are.

What? An fundamentalist candidate from the Muslim Brotherhood? Shocking. Her opinion is no different than that of most Christian fundamentalist women and it's painfully obvious.

Just because Fox News or NewsMax says it, doesn't mean it's true.
    Time for a change

For once we agree on something.

But I also agree with part of that woman's viewpoint. God intended woman to be man's helpmate, partner and co-ruler not his slave or servant. But at the same time, woman must respect man's God-given authority and be humbl and not make trouble for him, while man must not abuse his authority and power in any way.

Men are supposed to love women not humiliate them.
