Thread: The "What's Coming Out For PSP?" Thread

  1. The "What's Coming Out For PSP?" Thread

Games worth mentioning, listed as coming out by the end of 2005:

GTA: Liberty City Stories Oct 1

    Burnout Legends Oct 18

Y's VI: Ark of Napishtim Nov. 15

Metal Gear Acid 2 Nov. 15

    Guilty Gear Judgement Nov. 15

Viewtiful Joe VFX Battle Nov. 15

Pac Man World 3 Nov. 15

SOCOM: US Navy Seals Nov. 15

    Sonic Nov. 15

....and that's it. There's also a bunch of movies that all cost twice as much as the dvd versions. I think there are like two things on there I'd even consider buying. Please tell me there's more, that there's tons of awesome things in the pipeline in Japan I don't know about. Because I like the hardware, but right now if I'd dropped the $ on a PSP I'd find that list kind of appalling.

I'm looking foward to SOCOM and GTA, but that's about it. Why isn't Coded Arms on that list?

  4. That Death Jr. game looked kinda neat.

  5. there's seriously nothing till october? hahaha

I'm so glad i resisted the temptation. Just three days ago i saw some at Target but i'm over it already. Getting through the first 2 weeks without blowing the cash was the hard part.

Check out the actual gameplay footage they have on Gamespot - not the edited trailer. It looks dark, framey and the visuals are hyper-1997. Plus, an fps you control with a dpad (I'm assuming you use the buttons to move around) instantly has one strike against it. It could be okay, but I'm not holding my breath.

    Predator PSP UMD: 29.99

And it goes on from there. Some are listed at 19.99 USD. Most new dvds in Canada cost 19.99 CDN.

Cripes, those new prices are so stupid.
I was really talking about the prices here: http://www.microcenter.com/search_re...x=0&submit.y=0

  9. Strider, dont be dumb. MSRP != sale price.

  10. Yeah, thankfully, most places got smart and are selling them for quite a bit below the MSRP.
