I was browsing the tope 20 trailers at www.gametrailers.com and noticed the early version game play for RE4 was in 3rd for most downloaded. I havent had the chance to play this game yet so I'm curious to why this is the most downloaded. What are the differences in this compared to the game?

Last time I've cheked, I never had a Lucas Barton avatar you moron. Don't confuse me with Johnny Nightrain, Lucas' second alias.
Going back to the thread at hand, RE4 went through like three official revamps (excluding the Devil May Cry version) before the released version with the Ganados and Las Plagas.
Prototype #1: Fog Version (the one that had the Progenitor Virus)
Prototype #2: Illussion Version (the one with "Hook Man")
Prototype #3: Zombie Version (never unveiled publically).
SurvivHor has movies from the first two prototypes. It's all in French, but it's still quite a fansite.
