Thread: Ripping 32X soundtracks

  1. Ripping 32X soundtracks

I'd like to rip some tunes from some 32X games, but don't know how. or what program to use. Anyone know?

  2. Almost impossible from most sites I've looked for roms. It can be done, but apparenlty the two soundboards (the one on the 32x and the one on the Genesis) were actually physically seperate. So the high quality 32x samples in those songs will most likely be missing if you rip it in any conventional way.

    Good luck.

Lol, it's for an article I'm doing for my site, comparing the 32X version to the Saturn one.

Damn, I'd forgotten about it using the Genesis. Might there be any way to record to my HDD straight from the soundtest?

  7. if you can get in the debug mode of the roms themselves, yes. Most 32X games did not however, have a sound test.

*Actually Melf tell me what game you want, I have a fusion emulator and a version of acid 4.0 so I could probably just direct record it for you.

  8. I need Jacky's theme from Virtua Fighter. It has a sound test, and the song loops after about 2 minutes. I just need enough to show the difference in quality.

    Thanks.

  9. How about doing it the ghetto way and hooking up the system to the line-in on your computer?

Or put a mic next to your speaker.
