Thread: Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

  1. Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

I want this game pretty bad but with Nintendogs and Advance Wars DS out it's going to be a tough choice.

I played a bit of it and it's fun as hell. It's pretty much GTA + Rampage + Spiderman 2. I was thinking about getting the X-Box version since I hear the GC one has more slowdown than the other versions but then again I like the GC's sharper picture quality/brighter colors.

Anyone have impressions and such so far?

  3. I picked this up with trade-in credit, and I really like it. It's fun to just run around and destroy stuff. I'm not very far into it at all, but I already have a ton of moves at my disposal. I like how you can jump incredibly high and run up\climb up buildings. You can also do cool stuff like use missile silos as giant rocket launchers and rip cars in half and construct a pair of metal boxing gloves. The missions have been fun so far. The game is a good action game in general, but if you like the Hulk, the game is awesome.

  4. Is this game centered on the comic or movie hulk?

I think its cool that you can make Hulk hide from enemies Metal Gear box style, flipping over the back of a dump truck and roaming around with it over his head.

    More on the comic actually.

  7. Yeah, it's definitely centered more on the comic. You can collect comic covers as extras and such.

  8. Tried the OPM demo, and I didn't really like it. Don't quite remember why, though.

But I want to replay the MK: Shaolin Monks demo, and Hulk's on the same disc, so maybe I'll try it again.

  9. I play the demo constantly at work for GameCube (no demo on the Xbox kiosk). I just enjoy it as a good "Rampage with Hulk instead of Lizzie." I'll be picking it up at some point, but unfortunately not anytime soon since I have too many games I need to beat still (currently working on Shadow of Rome), and I've got to save, save, save for the 360.

  10. Rented it. Really liking it so far, but I can already tell I made the right choice in not buying - it's shaping up to be one of those games that are a lot of fun until you do all there is to do, and you end up doing that a lot sooner than you'd have hoped.
