Played the Japanese version on my buddy's PSP. It sucks.
Character animation's choppy as fuck, the draw-in distance is equal to the original PS1 game (seriously), the camera is a total nightmare (worst I've ever seen) and the tunes are just reused from the PS2 games- nothing new. You guys know what a Tenchu whore I am so if I say it sucks it must really suck.
Hopefully they'll fix it up for it's U.S. release. Eh, who cares, I don't own a PSP anyway, and this game sure ain't gonna make me buy one.

... but you can make missions with it again! Which you can torture your friends with by taking advantage of the poor game engine to make them impossible to beat. Someone snapping a controller in half out of frustration is nothing. Imagine your joy in making your friend snap his PSP in half. He'll be forced to buy another one so it can play his extensive UMD collection again.

This is getting sad. So far the only announced PSP game that looks promising for next year is Ghouls N Ghosts. The system is six months old and is about to see its first holiday season, and it's lineup is still shit.

Yeah, the game almost needs to be redone from scratch.
Yeah, almost any desire I had to buy a PSP is all but gone. Meanwhile, the DS is looking better and better.
