Thread: Finny the Fish & The Seven Waters

  1. PlayStation 2 Finny the Fish & The Seven Waters

Finny the Fish is a three dimensional, underwater adventure game where you play through the eyes of a fish. You must solve various puzzles and mysteries to bring back balance to your aquatic home. Just like any fish, you'll need to eat, and more importantly, avoid being eaten...not only by other fish, but the local fishermen as well! It pays to carefully observe what you consume, since some bits of food are actually fishermen's lures -- if you get caught, you will need to use a variety of skills to try and escape.

Okay, so what's the deal with this game. Anyone played it? Seems like it could be fun. Gamerankings (from which I stole the pic and summary) has it at 61%.

    I like underwater games.

Well, the boxart always catches my eye at Gamestop.

  3. Yeah same here...noticed this one on several occasions...but I've bever bought it.

    For everyone's viewing pleasure:

  5. I've been wanting to pick this up for a while, and dying to hear good things about it.
    All is well.

  6. Its definatly in the "odd games I want to buy when they are even cheaper then they are now" category. Seems like something that would be nice to have 10 years from now.
    Barf! Barf! Barf!

Thanks for reminding me about this game. I liked the import demo OPM had a while back and always wanted to play more of it. I bought it today(only $20 CDN at Wal Mart) and I'm enjoying it.

In general I'm sick of scavenger hunt games but this one is different enough and has such a relaxing atmosphere that I find it appealing. It's certainly for a niche crowd but if the theme interests you I would say go for it.

  8. Only played the first hour or so but felt pretty bored throughout. I don't like how it seems to think I'm four years old. The "kiddie" Nintendo games don't do this.
