I know. I was fucking confused. But when has a grammar error stopped someone from making a thread title?

And holy shit I am sick of all the bitching about the price point. Fuck, its been weeks already. I'm more irritated by everyone bitching than the actual price now. Don't buy it for christ sake.

Don't like it, don't read it. People have the right to bitch about it. It's a god damn message board for fucks sake.

  10. NOPE. And all these system bundles COST more too.
Sorry, but that's simply not true. The Gamecube and Xbox bundles are the same price as usual, but with a free game. Whether it's Mario Kart, JSRF/Sega GT, that crap sports pack MS did last year, or Super Smash Bros. Melee, it's the same price. I really don't remember what the N64 and Dreamcast bundles cost anymore.

It is true that they didn't do it at launch, though.

The reason systems used to come with games is that gaming in the US was dead. I liked it, you liked it, nobody else did. Putting a game in with the system just made sense, so that the perceived value was higher and people would actually play with it out of the box rather than take a pass due to all the added on expenses. They practice was dropped (aside from MS/Nintendo during the holiday season) when gaming became popular enough that it didn't need to do it any more.
