It's out on JPS2 only so far.
No word about it coming to the states, and no one expects it to, either. I'd like to try it someday, but it's not a big priority.
Well what can I say that wasn't said in the title. I finally got to play Rumble Fish during my trip to NYC when I made a trip to China Town and just happen to run into an arcade. I think the arcade I went to is the one I've heard someone mention here before. Anyway I feel RF is a pretty good fighting game. I didn't know it was 3d polys that played like a 2d game. The combos were pretty decent to use and I forgot the character's name I was using but I liked how he fought. I do remember the character who I was playing against, some dude named Greed with a crazy suck in 4 hit combo that the guy playing with used a bit. Did this game come out for ps2 in japan? And is there any word on it coming to the States cuz I'd buy a JP ps2 to play this game.

Game is alright. I've played better.
I might have to import this when I give my PS2 the flip-top procedure.
All is well.
Wait...its 3D graphics?
Yeah the characters were 3d but they looked and played 2d. Better than how the KoF 3d game does it. The only other game i played that was 3d that really played 2d is Slap Happy Rhythm Busters, but you could tell the chars were 3d.

My understanding is that it's 2D...but segmented 2D. Meaning the head, body, limbs, etc are all individual 2D sprites moving together. This way characters can get damaged, lose hats, etc. So I'm pretty sure it's 2D.Originally Posted by Zerodash
Hmm the 2nd one is already out in Arcades.
So, its like the Gundam Battle Assault games?Originally Posted by Cheebs
