So, anybody get the Target-exclusive "robo-vision" Prime? It looked in the store like it's probably more movie-accurate than the somewhat chunky Leader Class version, but it has the same disappointing lack of detail.

I didn't see it last night when I got my leader class, but it's half the price, which is probably why it seems less clunky.

Ooof, scope that back-buldge. The packaging doesn't really put that on display; it's a bit of a dealbreaker IMO. I mean, that's a figure that's gonna be falling on its back ALL THE FUCKING TIME. Plus it's just plain ugly.

I hate plastic Transformers. Bring back the God damned metal.

I actually prefer the plastic. Plastic joints stay stiffer, and the use of plastic has allowed them to get a lot more complicated in the transformations. If all things were equal, I'd of course prefer die-cast, but I think plastic has actually made the toys better than ever.

I picked it up cus 40bucks is a little steep. In Truck mode its pretty good, its just that it takes a little pressure to get everything to connect firmly. and it all looks a little loose. Like it could unravel itself anytime.

In bot mode it does look closer to the movie design. The back bulge actually doesn't hinder it at all. Its been standing for the last 2 weeks and it hasnt fallin yet. My biggest problem besides the backpack is the feet dont lay flat. for some reason they just wont go flat on a service. it doesn't make it fall over or anything. its just annoying. Other than that its a pretty good toy.

BTW Your TRU's might be getting in some of the Commemorative Soundwaves, check it out.

I picked one up for myself and Bbobb. Took it out of the package and it was so rad, metal, stickers SHIT!

Ive had the japanese soundwave reissue for like 2 years now

And its JUST coming out here. thats messed up.
