I don't mind reading your opinions on the different subject matters at hand throughout TNL, but stop trying to be funny. Please. You're completely lousy at it.

That was an interesting read. I had no idea parasites that abuse their hosts that much even existed.Everytime I think of parasites now though, I think of this for some reason:

Nah, the joke which used one of Bushie's previous quotes made 100% perfect sense in every satirical way. You didn't like it? Sue me. Or go eat your mom's poop.

BTW, I liked your posts better when you had the Satsuki fang avatar. *shrugs*

Reminds me of a movie called ALiens...

'But S. tellinii isn't satisfied, oh no, he needs water to reproduce so he turns his attention to the last remaining sweetmeat inside his host. S. tellinii begins secreting controlling proteins into the grasshopper's simplistic brain and remote pilots the poor host to the nearest body of water. Once there the bug gets one last order from S. tellinii to take the plunge and then without a thank you or a goodbye the creature erupts from the still-twitching carcass, by then grown to a size usually several times the length of its host. You can watch a video of this gruesome process if you are so inclined. No word yet on whether or not S. tellinii will instruct its host to point and make a weird moaning scream if it spots an intruder.'

This is just evil..... I guess they where right in Starship Troopers....

  10. This is from a sept 2004 post to the official Babylon 5 newsgroup. FL scientists had used a rat embryo to successfully manipulate a flight program. No joke. Here is a link to the story in the UK register (NOT a tabloid AFAIK), very interesting and somewhat scary if true:

    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/12...ain_flies_jet/

Scientists at the university of Florida taught the 'brain', which was grown from 25,000 neural cells extracted from a rat embryo, to pilot an F-22 jet simulator. It was taught to control the flight path, even in mock hurricane-strength winds
