But we're fucked. I dunno, me and station in a pretty good place to ride out the storm. Levees, 50 miles inland 80 feet above sealevel. But its the winds and shit we'll have to watch for.

So I watched the news today, saw all the hurricane smash talk, and decided i would go pop some more gas in the tank, expecting prices to rise say on Friday. I get there and the girl is saying fill it up the price is about to jump from 98.1 a liter to somewhere near 1.90 a liter in under an hour. I thanked her and dropped 40 bucks in... hopefully i'll have enough until the prices come back to normal.

Good news. Station, Tracer and I are no longer 100% proper fucked
Hurricane's course shifted a bit to the north, bad news for NOLA but good news for us people in civilization. Eye of the storm which was going to pass right over my house, is now a good 20 miles east of me.
Well if the cone of uncertainity doesn't shift again. If nothing else its 5 more hours to escape.
