I just finished the Dark Crusade demo, and I'm totally sold on this game now. It fixes all of the problems that generally make RTS's inaccessible to me. Awesome shit.

I'll probably buy it next week and if some of you guys are active online, I'll pick up the original as well.

Spent some quality time both in campaign mode and online, mostly with the Tau.

I'm very impressed. Campaign mode is suprisingly difficult even on Normal. The whole Risk-board concept is brilliant, and more than makes up for the comparatively skimpy campaigns in DoW and WA. With seven playable factions, you're not going to get bored with Campaign anytime soon.

My DoW skills are pretty rusty online. Contrary to what some reviewers are saying, the Tau and Necrons aren't very noob-friendly. The Tau have some powerful units, but they're quite expensive and very fragile. And they have no turrets! The Necrons are just...weird, very different from anything I've played in any other RTS.

GW had nothing to do with the making of the game, it's all Relic. They deserve your support; they're the best RTS house that's not preoccupied with MMO-making.

They are a really crappy company that has done tons of crap to try and stamp out other companies, they draw up totally BS lawsuits and copyrights, they screw over hobby stores and online retailors, and just plain suck.
