    Cold. Very cold.

I hope, for the sake of my faith in humanity that she left to call the police ('cause it'd just be illegal to use the gas station's phone).

Wait, you have faith in humanity?

I dunno about it being illegal, but when a man's dying, you don't just sit around and wait for the flys to buzz in. I do have to wonder if it's illegal to just leave a crime scene without providing help if it's needed. Wouldn't that be aiding a felon?

Well, I was being sarcastic for the most part. But I'm pretty sure it's a crime. I just can't possibly understand how someone cannot help another person who is obviously very hurt.

Makes me feel real bad, deep inside.

You are confused and that's not the same thing, if you want to compare this and that:

How many times do all of you stop when you are driving down a road with no one else around and you come across someone who has been in an accident and bleeding out on the ground?

That is not against the law.
