I'm mostly using a keyboard for design shortcuts (keyboard left hand / wacom tablet with right hand), so an ergonomic layout is more of a pain in the ass for me.

If I'm spending more than a few minutes at the keyboard, it's because I'm playing a game, so I don't need an ergonomic layout at all.

I don't get the ergonomic thing at all. I'm on a computer all day and am just not feeling even a little uncomfortable. My hands are fine, and my wrists are good with the world. It probably helps that I use a trackball rather than a mouse,though.

You adapt. I got really into the ergonomic style when it was all I had at an old job. I don't miss it now, though.

I'm fortunate to be making quite a bit more at my current job than my old one, so I decided to just get the blank das keyboard with some of my surplus fundage. $123 OTD at newegg with a promotion code. I'll post impressions.
